Poem-sorrow

Poem-sorrow
Current mood: anxious
Category: Writing and Poetry

Your solitary silence
I am looking at your blankness
I wait for
The moment you open the door for me
The airless air wraps us coldly

Gradually
My impatient heart tries to break the calmness
With the hysteric scream
In my imagination
“What are you thinkin’ of?”
It echoes in vain

Suddenly
My gentle mind wants to play with you
with my horselaugh voice
In our reality,
“Who am I?~~~“
I blindfold you with both [...]

Poem-stars
Current mood: awake

Illuminations of Christmas in Tokyo
People on the main street

The chinese fortune-tellers holding long sticks
Street performers playing classical guitar
Young sweet lovers chatting happily
The politician doing street oratory
Women of volunteers raising contribution
&
The beggar who lies in the lonely corner of the building

I
Think
The artifical show gives every equal brightness of lights
I
Imagine
if I replace us stars of lights on the [...]

Poem-exchange, you first order

Poem-change, you first order
Current mood: calm
Category: Writing and Poetry

At the restaurant
 I ordered an orange juice
You did Espresso
We looked at each other curiously
Our “You First” order
We giggled
And then
Changed them for each preference

On the way back to our nest
We were walking in silence
 While joining by each hand
And, here, again,
we changed each other’s warmth
Instead of saying
“I love you deeply…”

Poem-The specific medicine

Poem-the specific medicine
Current mood: calm
Category: Writing and Poetry

Your pale face in our bed
Saw off my steps to work
Keeping your uneasy mind
Your e-mail from the cell
Sent the emergency of loneliness
to ask me “Where?”
Your countless e-mail from 6:00 p.m.
My continuous response again and again
“Office-station-in the train-walk-home!”
Finally
My horselaugh and silly joke
are resonant with
Your yawn and sleepy eyes
The specific medicine
Called “Relief”
My special [...]

Poem-where my dream is…

Poem-where my dream is…
Current mood: creative
Category: Writing and Poetry

The dream in my childhood
My sweet darlin will sit near the fireplace
He’ll pat the head of the cute cat
There will be a novel on the sofa
I’ll knit his sweater beside him
The reality in now
My funny darlin sits near the TV
He jeers in the match of the soccer
There is the book of [...]

Poem-silent whiteness in fall

Poem-silent whiteness in fall
Current mood: okay
Category: Writing and Poetry

Old, old country-side in Japan
Silent whiteness
Hearth with the steam
Boiling chestnuts
Rattle, rattle

The place waits for the winter
When snow is gray, and feels dark
Playing on the run in a corridor
With the child, Zashiki-warashi of
the never-never land

I release from the stopped moment
In my childhood memory
Kicking up autumn leaves in the deepened sky…

A Zashiki-warashi, sometimes also called a Zashiki-bokko  is [...]

Poem-husk
November 24, 2007

Sensitivity made of glass
To protect Me
The hard husk I sleep in
My sealed core
with the deepest quietness
Crouch down
Cover my ears
Wandering in the dream
The warmness pats my shoulder
I catch you dry my tears
I break it through
to touch
your hand, your cheek and
your everything
How bright the outside is
To excuse me
The dazzling sunshine I bathe in
For a while…

Poem-bank
November 21, 2007

Bank
岸辺
Waves approach and come
波が寄せる
White bubbles on stones
石の上に白い泡
I scoop the salty air
私は手のひらに
on my palm
塩っぽい空気をすくっている
Wind lets the black hair bow
風は黒髪をなびかせ
My heart knows
私の心は
Your bounding breaths
貴方の弾んだ息を知る
They assimilate
それは海の音に
the sound of sea
同化する
My back feels
私の背中は
The calm stillness
穏やかな静けさを感じる
It’s the moment when our sighs are
それは私達の吐息が
To be the one…
一つになった瞬間・・・

Poem-playing with a cresent moon
November 17, 2007

The time
when the moon was “more” yellow
The moment
when the sky was “more” black
I travelled to the dream-world
From the station to our home
Riding on my bike
For a while
I met
The cat playing the violin
The lion having a flute in his hand
The elephant tapping the piano
The bird walking on the harp
&
The leopard doing *Otedama

My greeting “Hi!” to them
My cheerful handshake with a [...]

Poem-zone out

Poem-zone out
Current mood: mischievous
Category: Writing and Poetry

On our bed
You thrust a shoulder and an elbow
Watching the soccer game with fun
My ears listen to your jeering
So excited
Not noticing me

My heart plays
I zone out, too
for mimicry behind you
My eyes to your back figure
Just giggling
wow, how cute you are
Soft, gorgeous stuffed ”MAN”
